HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Huntington man, Tyekey Donnell Manley, 35, is facing multiple charges following a domestic violence incident on Sunday, June 1, according to the West Virginia State Police.
Trooper T.A. Ellis responded to a call around 9:15 p.m. on Darnell Road in Cabell County after a woman reported that her husband struck her in the face following an argument in which she refused his sexual advances.
Upon arrival, Trooper Ellis found the victim emotionally distressed. She stated that Manley had hit her and described a long-standing pattern of emotional and physical abuse, including strangulation, stalking, and repeated harassment.
A background check confirmed Manley had a prior domestic battery conviction involving the same victim dated October 30, 2024, along with a record of previous assault charges.
Based on the investigation, Manley was arrested and charged with the following:
Second-offense domestic battery
Domestic assault
Harassment
He was taken into custody without incident. Authorities are continuing to investigate, and additional charges may be considered depending on the outcome of the case.
