GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WBFF) — Two men were arrested and a cache of firearms and drugs was seized after Anne Arundel County Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle late Saturday night.

Around 11:50 p.m. on May 24, officers were called to Hilltop Road near Overhill Road in Glen Burnie. Upon arrival, they spotted a 2021 Acura sedan with several people inside.

As police approached, four individuals fled the scene, while two remained in the vehicle. Officers quickly noticed a handgun on the car’s floorboard.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of approximately 260 grams of suspected marijuana packaged for distribution, a digital scale, a loaded .45 caliber Glock handgun, and a loaded .40 caliber Taurus handgun.

The two men who stayed behind—21-year-old Ty Cristin Parker of Halethorpe and 19-year-old Arjae Howard Mobray of Glen Burnie—were arrested at the scene. Both are legally prohibited from owning firearms and now face multiple charges.

The identities of the four individuals who fled are still under investigation.
