Manimajra police have arrested two 18-year-old suspects, Aakash (alias Billa) and Prince, in connection with the murder of 19-year-old Sanjeet from Panchkula. The incident occurred on Saturday night near Kheda Mandir, VIP Gali, New Indira Colony.
Sanjeet was found bleeding on the street and rushed to the Government Multi-Specialty Hospital in Sector 16, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Following a murder case registration at the IT Park police station, an investigation led by Inspector Usha Rani resulted in the arrest of the two suspects on Sunday. The police recovered the knife allegedly used in the attack from Aakash. The case now also includes relevant sections under the Arms Act.
