The tragic incident occurred on Sunday evening, as part of a drug deal that escalated into violence.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects had arranged to purchase $400 worth of marijuana from the victim. However, when they met with him, the situation took a deadly turn. Sheriff Judd issued a stern warning to those involved in the drug trade, emphasizing the life-threatening risks posed by these illegal activities. Authorities continue to investigate the case, and more updates will be provided through the Polk County Sheriff’s Office website.

This case has underscored the ongoing issues of drug violence and the tragic outcomes that can result from illegal transactions. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office continues to urge the public to report any tips that could help law enforcement recover the murder weapon and bring justice to the victim and his family.
