Kane Farghaly and Paul Slicher Face Prison for Drug Crimes

by Amelia Crawford

Two men from Northwich, Kane Farghaly, 25, and Paul Slicher, 37, have been sentenced for their involvement in the supply of Class A drugs, including cocaine and heroin.

The pair was arrested in October 2024 following an investigation that revealed their connection to mobile phones used for drug distribution. Farghaly was apprehended at his home after attempting to throw a mobile phone from a window, while Slicher voluntarily appeared at the police station.

Both men pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges. Farghaly also admitted to possessing cannabis and an offensive weapon.

Farghaly was sentenced to four years and two months in prison, while Slicher received a 24-month sentence, suspended for 18 months.

PC Dean Butterworth from Northwich Proactive CID emphasized the critical importance of community support in tackling drug-related crime, urging the public to report any information about drug dealing in their neighborhoods.
