In recent days, two Kurdish individuals from Shahin Dezh (Sain Qela), identified as Younes Rahmani and Esmail Bahrami, have been arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and are currently being held in an unknown location.

According to a report from the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Esmail Bahrami, a cleric from the village of Qozlou in the Shahin Dezh district, was detained at dawn on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. The arrest was carried out with excessive force, and Bahrami was reportedly beaten before being transferred to an undisclosed location.

Younes Rahmani, another resident from the same village, was arrested by agents of the Iranian Intelligence Department. His arrest was executed without the presentation of an arrest warrant.

Despite several days passing since their detentions, there has been no information provided about the fate or current condition of these two Kurdish individuals. Their families have made efforts to seek information but have not received any answers.

At the time of this report, the reasons for their arrests, the charges against them, and their whereabouts remain unclear.
