Two motorists lost their lives in a road accident on Tuesday after the two-wheeler they were traveling in collided with another two-wheeler on Cheyyar–Vandavasi Main Road, near Anthanur village close to Chengam town in Tiruvannamalai.
The deceased were identified as S. Arun Kumar (28), a resident of Cheyyar town, and B. Pugazhenthi (32).
According to initial police inquiries, Arun Kumar was traveling on his two-wheeler for work when another rider, K. Satish (22), suddenly entered the road from a narrow lane, leading to the fatal collision.
Police are investigating the incident further to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.
