Two Jacksonville Residents Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges Following Foot Chase in Onslow County

Lethan Pollock Jr. and Ariana Prado face serious trafficking and drug possession charges; Pollock also charged with resisting deputies

ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. — Two Jacksonville residents are behind bars on multiple drug charges following an incident Monday evening.

Deputies with the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office identified Lethan Pollock, Jr. and Ariana Prado as suspects in a drug-related investigation. Pollock, who had outstanding warrants, was spotted just before 6:00 p.m. near the Speedway on Burgaw Highway. When deputies approached, Pollock reportedly fled on foot, leading them on a brief chase before both individuals were taken into custody.

Both Pollock and Prado face a range of charges, including:

Three counts of trafficking opium/heroin

Possession of cocaine

Maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances

Manufacture of Schedule II controlled substances

Manufacture, sale, or possession of controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Additionally, Pollock is charged with resisting, obstructing, and delaying law enforcement and was served with his outstanding warrants during the arrest.

Deputies reported finding quantities of fentanyl and cocaine inside the vehicle.

Pollock and Prado are currently being held without bond until their appearance before a judge.
