In a targeted operation by the Delhi Police Anti-Narcotics Squad, two foreign nationals were arrested for allegedly peddling drugs in the national capital.
The accused, identified as Bernadin (39) and Ezekile (33), were nabbed during a raid conducted on July 31 in Gali No. 13, Govindpuri, following a tip-off regarding their involvement in illegal narcotics distribution.
Police officials stated that the raid was part of a larger crackdown on drug trafficking networks operating in the city. Seized materials and further case details are yet to be disclosed as the investigation continues.
Authorities are also probing the duo’s residency status, possible connections to international drug syndicates, and whether more individuals are involved in the operation.
The arrests highlight the increasing role of foreign operatives in local drug networks, prompting Delhi Police to intensify surveillance and intelligence efforts in sensitive areas.
