On Thursday, two drug traffickers from Manipur were arrested by the police at Umphyrnai under the Madanriting police station. The suspects have been identified as Dontanglian (39) and Chingneilun (30).
During the operation, authorities recovered ten soap boxes containing 106.06 grams of suspected heroin from their possession. Along with the narcotics, two mobile phones were also seized, according to the police report.
The duo’s arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
