In a successful operation by the Lower Subansiri District Police, two alleged drug peddlers, including an ex-serviceman, were arrested on Tuesday, with 34.5 grams of suspected heroin seized. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided Hari village, where they apprehended Hage Sira, recovering 7.7 grams of heroin from his possession. Additionally, Mudang Miri, a former serviceman, was arrested from Mudang Tage village after months of surveillance. Police seized 26.8 grams of heroin from his possession. Both suspects face charges under the NDPS Act, with further investigations underway.
