Lafourche Parish, LA — Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced on Wednesday that two individuals have been arrested and three others remain at large in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on the morning of January 24, 2025. The two individuals arrested are Anthony Breaux, 17, of Bayou Blue, and Nathan Craig Jr., 17, of Houma. Meanwhile, Zion Williams, 21, Jasmon Jackson, 20, and Jayden Woods, 21, are still being sought for their involvement in the robbery.
The robbery took place in the early morning hours when Breaux met with an acquaintance in the Bayou Blue area. Upon meeting, four other suspects were present, and they held the victim at gunpoint. The suspects stole money, jewelry, clothing, and a cell phone from the victim. The victim immediately reported the incident to a nearby deputy, who located the suspect’s vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. However, the driver fled, leading deputies on a pursuit along LA Highway 182 to Raceland.
At some point during the pursuit, the vehicle crashed, and the suspects fled on foot. A search of the area was conducted, but deputies were unable to locate the suspects at the time.
Through further investigation, detectives identified Breaux, Craig, Williams, Jackson, and Woods as the five suspects involved in the armed robbery. Warrants were obtained for all five individuals, charging them with armed robbery and armed robbery with a firearm.
Breaux turned himself in to authorities at the Thibodaux Police Department later that evening and was booked on the active warrants. His bail is set at $300,000. Craig was taken into custody by authorities in Terrebonne Parish on January 28, 2025, before being transferred to Lafourche Parish and booked into the Correctional Complex with bail set at $500,000.
Investigators are still asking for the public’s help in locating the remaining suspects.
