Two Arrested in Wyoming County Burglary After Fleeing from Deputies

Judd Reed and Lashawna Huff Charged with Burglary and Fleeing

WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — Two individuals, Judd Reed and Lashawna Huff, have been arrested following a reported burglary in Wyoming County. According to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, both suspects were charged with felony burglary, and Reed also faces charges for fleeing from law enforcement.

Deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress at around 1:40 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2025, in the East Pineville area. Upon arriving at the scene, they spoke with the person who reported the burglary, who provided details about the two suspects and their direction of travel.

Huff was quickly located and arrested, while Reed attempted to flee on foot through the woods but was eventually apprehended by law enforcement. Both suspects were confirmed to have been involved in the burglary and have been charged accordingly.

As with all arrests, Reed and Huff are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
