GRANBURY, Texas – Two men, Trin Lawrence McKnight, 27, and Barrett Copeland, 19, have been arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with the deaths of three individuals who were reported missing earlier this month in Granbury, Texas. The victims, 44-year-old Tiffany Ann Williams, 42-year-old David Wayne Walker, and 55-year-old Robbie Allen Head, were allegedly killed during a robbery.

The investigation began on April 21 when deputies responded to a call from a concerned family member who could not reach Williams. The family member noticed that the Ring security doorbell at the couple’s home was missing, and when deputies arrived, they found the inside of the house in disarray with no sign of the couple, although their vehicle was still parked outside.

Evidence found at the scene included large amounts of blood and a fired gun casing, as well as indications of a violent struggle in the backseat and hatch of the victims’ vehicle. The bodies of the victims were discovered three days later, on April 24, near a creek in Hood County, with gunshot wounds. McKnight and Copeland were arrested shortly after.

McKnight reportedly told authorities that he and Copeland planned to rob the victims, with a third man allegedly holding Williams and Walker at gunpoint while they searched for drugs and money. He claimed it was the third man who shot all three victims before they wrapped the bodies and disposed of them by the creek. McKnight also confessed to leaving a bloody fingerprint on the victims’ vehicle.

Both McKnight and Copeland have been charged with capital murder and are currently held at the Parker County Jail with bonds set at $1 million each. Additionally, Copeland faces charges of burglary of a habitation, unrelated to the triple murder. McKnight also faces a separate charge for possession of a controlled substance.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence and search for additional suspects.
