In a significant breakthrough, Jammalamadugu police in Kadapa district have arrested two individuals involved in temple thefts, recovering stolen property worth approximately Rs12 lakh. The accused, identified as J. Balakrishna (32) and U. Hussain Basha (21), were involved in the theft at the Chowdamma Temple on February 5. Following a complaint filed by temple staff, police acted swiftly and nabbed the duo near Tadipatri Road with the help of CCTV footage.
