Two individuals accused in a murder case were arrested and sent for remand in Puttaparthi. B Vijay Kumar, the Sub-Divisional Officer of Puttaparthi, and BN Suresh, the Puttaparthi Rural CI, briefed the media on the case details on Monday.
The first accused, Buddana Garu Diwakar, was arrested at 11:30 am at Karnataka Nagepally Circle under the Puttaparthi Rural Police Station limits. The second accused, Chiyeti Sunitha, was arrested at her residence in Vengalammacheruvu village, also on the same day. Both individuals are residents of Vengalammacheruvu.
According to the police, Chiyeti Sunitha was married to Chiyeti Nagesh but was involved in an illicit affair with Buddana Garu Diwakar. Upon discovering the affair, Nagesh confronted his wife and warned her to end the relationship. The altercation escalated, leading to the tragic murder, and the authorities have now arrested both accused individuals.
