Two Arrested in North Beach Shooting at Neptune’s Seafood Pub

Rayquan Jackson and Devon Hunter face multiple charges including attempted murder after July 4 incident

NORTH BEACH, Md. — Shortly after midnight on July 4, 2025, deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting at Neptune’s Seafood Pub, located at 8802 Chesapeake Ave. No injuries were reported at the scene.

Following an investigation, two suspects were identified and arrested:

Rayquan Malik Jackson, 27, of Falls Church, VA

Devon Patrick Hunter, 24, of Friendship, MD

Both men are being held without bond at the Calvert County Detention Center and face multiple charges, including attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, use of a firearm in a felony, illegal possession of a firearm, second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.

Additionally, 19-year-old Jeremiah Jermaine Nick of Shady Side, MD, has been charged with tampering with evidence to obstruct the investigation. A criminal summons has been issued for his arrest.
