LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. — Two individuals were arrested following a drug trafficking investigation initiated after a citizen complaint, officials announced.
Keshaun Strickland, 33, of Greenville, was identified by the Lenoir County Street Crime and Rapid Response (SCARR) Unit as a primary suspect. Search warrants executed at two of Strickland’s storage facilities uncovered:
Trafficking quantities of cocaine
U.S. currency
Packaging materials used for narcotics distribution
Strickland faces multiple charges, including:
Felony trafficking in cocaine
Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance
Two counts of felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substances
Felony conspiracy
Strickland was initially held on a no-bond status due to prior pretrial release and later transferred to the Lenoir County Detention Center under a $40,000 secured bond.
Shaniqua Lowe, 35, of Greenville, was identified as a co-conspirator and arrested in Pitt County for felony conspiracy, with a $2,500 secured bond.
