TOPICK, Ariz. — Deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office have arrested Jade Storm, 29, of Las Vegas, and Samantha Clickinbeard, 26, of Denver, on multiple felony charges tied to stolen vehicles and firearms.
The pair face three counts of theft of means of transportation, possession of stolen property valued over $20,000, and weapons possession by a prohibited person, according to officials.
The investigation began on Oct. 3, after deputies were alerted to stolen vehicles at a property off Polaris Road near Topock, Arizona. The reporting party said a friend’s truck and trailer — containing several firearms — had vanished from a nearby campground the previous day.
Employees at the campground identified Storm and Clickinbeard as recent guests and said the two maintained property in the area. Deputies later found the stolen truck and trailer, as well as another stolen vehicle, at the property.
A search of the trailer uncovered belongings tied to both suspects. While deputies investigated, a black SUV approached the scene but sped away. Deputies pursued and stopped the vehicle on East Powell Lake Road, arresting Storm and Clickinbeard without further incident.
A male passenger in the SUV was questioned and later released after being cleared of involvement.
Both Storm and Clickinbeard, who have prior felony convictions, were booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman.
The investigation remains ongoing.
