On Wednesday, January 22, officials from the excise department arrested Guddu Kumar and Chetu Kumar Yadav for their involvement in selling ganja in the Domalguda area of Hyderabad. The duo was apprehended after the Musheerabad excise team received credible information about their illicit activities.
During the arrest, the police seized six kilograms of ganja from the accused. It was revealed that the two men, both natives of Jharkhand, had procured the ganja from suppliers in Odisha and were selling it to customers near Domalguda NTR Stadium Gate 3.
In addition to the drugs, an auto rickshaw used in the transportation of the contraband was also seized. A case has been registered against Guddu Kumar and Chetu Yadav, who were subsequently produced before the court and remanded into custody.
