On Sunday, police in Ranipet arrested two individuals in connection with a burglary at a farmer’s house in Bagaveli village, near Walajah town. The accused were identified as S. Sanjay (22) and R. Suriya (20), both residents of Madipakkam, Chennai.
The suspects, originally from Bagaveli village, had been visiting relatives and family friends when they targeted the farmer’s house. After stealing valuables, they were apprehended by the police.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine if the duo is linked to any other thefts in the area. The police urge locals to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to assist in further inquiries.
