Two Arrested After Logan County Bank Robbery in West Virginia

Brian Corbett and Charlena Wilburn arrested after cash linked to robbery found

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. — New details have emerged about a bank robbery in Logan County, West Virginia, that led to the arrests of two individuals in South Charleston.

According to criminal complaints filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court, 49-year-old Brian Lee Corbett of South Charleston and 47-year-old Charlena Gail Wilburn of Danville were arrested after authorities observed their interaction in a parking lot on Thursday.

Earlier that day, a robbery occurred at the United Bank in the Aracoma area of Logan County. Investigators later identified one of the vehicles involved as a suspect vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, police discovered a plastic bag containing a large sum of cash, including four marked bills that had been reported missing from the bank during the robbery.

Both Corbett and Wilburn are now in custody as the investigation continues.
