Two Arrested After 2-Year-Old Boy Overdoses on Fentanyl in Tulsa

Tulsa Police arrested two individuals after a 2-year-old boy overdosed on fentanyl at a local motel on Saturday. Authorities responded to the scene near I-44 and Yale, where they found the child unresponsive and struggling to breathe.

First responders quickly revived the boy and transported him to the hospital for treatment. Fentanyl was discovered near where the child had been lying, prompting further investigation.

Police arrested the boy’s mother, Jailynn Cormier, and Kadin Hester, both facing drug possession charges among other related offenses. Fortunately, the child is expected to make a full recovery but will be placed in the care of the Department of Human Services (DHS) for safety.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of fentanyl, especially to vulnerable individuals like children.
