TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) — Authorities have arrested a Tuscaloosa County teacher accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a student.
The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office received a report on July 16 from the parents of a North River Christian Academy student who discovered the relationship.
Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for 35-year-old Sarah Huggins Logan. She was taken into custody on July 18 and charged with one count of school employee engaging in a sex act.
Officials indicate that there may be additional victims involved. North River Christian Academy has cooperated with the investigation, and Logan is no longer employed at the school.

The investigation is ongoing, and more charges are expected.
