TULSA, OKLA. — A Tulsa man was arrested Monday night after allegedly assaulting another person with a machete following an argument at an apartment complex.
Tulsa Police responded around 10:25 p.m. to the Silverwood Apartments near 24th Street and S. Memorial. Authorities learned that 58-year-old Davide Bundy and the victim got into an argument. During the dispute, Bundy reportedly went back to his apartment, grabbed a machete, and struck the victim.
The victim suffered a laceration to the back of his head and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
When officers arrived, Bundy was hiding inside an apartment and initially refused to respond to police calls. After obtaining a search warrant, police entered and took Bundy into custody.
Bundy admitted to assaulting the victim with a machete, with the conflict reportedly arising over tools. He now faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
