CAMP HILL, AL: Troy Wayne McCormick, 40, of Camp Hill, was arrested on January 17, 2025, on multiple drug-related charges, including trafficking methamphetamine, first-degree possession of marijuana, and a paraphernalia misdemeanor. The arrest follows a drug bust near Airport Road in Alexander City, where McCormick was found with approximately 42 grams of methamphetamine, 63 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

McCormick was released on January 23 after posting bond. His bond amounts were set at $75,000 for the trafficking charge, $5,000 for marijuana possession, and $1,000 for the paraphernalia misdemeanor. He is scheduled for a first-call hearing on February 20 for all three charges.

This is not McCormick’s first arrest. In 2017, he was involved in another drug bust in Dadeville, where he faced charges for trafficking methamphetamine, marijuana possession, and multiple drug-related offenses after a search warrant was executed at a residence on Booger Hollow Road.

McCormick was again released on bond after the 2017 arrest, with bond amounts totaling $90,000.
