Trayon Lett Jr. Charged in Armed Robbery on Schillinger Rd

Mobile man accused of robbing acquaintance at gunpoint

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A 30-year-old Mobile man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Monday afternoon on Schillinger Road South.

According to a release from the Mobile Police Department, Trayon Lett Jr. was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged with first-degree robbery.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Schillinger Road South and Flint Ridge Road. Officers responded to a call reporting a robbery in progress.

Upon arrival, the victim informed police that a man he knew — later identified as Lett — had produced a weapon and demanded his belongings while inside the victim’s vehicle.

Lett was arrested and transported to Metro Jail, where he is currently being held pending a bond hearing.

Authorities have not released further details, and the investigation remains ongoing.
