Travis Propernick Arrested After Drugs Found in Vehicle

Woodland Park man caught asleep behind wheel with fentanyl

WOODLAND PARK, Colo. (KKTV) — A man was arrested Tuesday after police discovered drugs in his vehicle in Woodland Park.

According to the Woodland Park Police Department, officers spotted a silver truck parked along Trull Road near Highway 24. Upon approaching the vehicle, they found a man asleep in the driver’s seat.

Officers observed fentanyl pills and other items associated with drug use near the man, later identified as Travis Propernick.

Propernick was taken into custody and booked at the Teller County Jail. He is facing felony and misdemeanor drug charges, and his bond was set at $1,000.

Authorities continue to urge the public to report suspicious activity to help combat illegal drug use in the community.
