Travis Humphrey Arrested in Lyon County Burglary

Kuttawa man charged with ATV theft and burglary

LYON COUNTY, Ky. — A 35-year-old man from Kuttawa faces multiple charges following a burglary and theft investigation in Lyon County.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Travis Humphrey was arrested just before 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 11, in connection with a burglary reported on February 9 at a residence off Kentucky Highway 810 South.

Humphrey is accused of unlawfully entering a garage and stealing an ATV, which he allegedly sold for cash to someone in the Suwanee area. Authorities also believe he took additional items from the property.

Sheriff Brent White said deputies recovered the stolen ATV on February 11 at a residence in the Bar X mobile home park.

Humphrey was charged with:

Third-degree burglary

Theft by unlawful taking over $1,000 but less than $10,000

Tampering with physical evidence

Theft by unlawful taking under $500

He was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
