Torrance Bowens Jr. Arrested for Multiple Alexandria Burglaries

19-year-old faces 21 burglary-related charges; bond set at $210K

ALEXANDRIA, LA – A 19-year-old Alexandria man has been arrested in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries in the city, according to the Alexandria Police Department (APD).

Torrance Bowens Jr. was taken into custody on March 2 and charged with:

13 counts of vehicle burglary
7 counts of attempted vehicle burglary
1 count of theft ($1,000 – $5,000)
Bowens was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center, where his bond was set at $210,000.

Ongoing Investigation
The burglaries occurred between November 2024 and January 2025 in the West Pointe Subdivision. Authorities are continuing their investigation and are urging residents to report any suspicious activity.
