Toronzo Theriot and Ernest Davis Arrested in Houma Drug Bust

Two men face multiple charges after narcotics investigation

HOUMA, La. (WGNO) — Two men were arrested after a significant drug bust in Houma on Friday, Nov. 22, following an extensive two-and-a-half-month investigation.

The Houma Police Department, in collaboration with Homeland Security Investigations and the Louisiana State Police Investigations, led the case. A search warrant was executed at a residence located at 401 Louise Street, with assistance from the HPD SWAT team. The search revealed a range of illicit items, including:

Over 14 pounds of marijuana
More than 4.5 ounces of crack cocaine
Over $1,000 in cash
Xanax pills
MDMA (Ecstasy)
Fraudulent Louisiana temporary license plates
Fraudulent Louisiana and Texas MVI (Motor Vehicle Inspection) stickers
Fake Louisiana handicapped hanging placards
As a result of the operation, two individuals, Toronzo Theriot and Ernest Davis, were arrested and charged with multiple offenses. Both face charges including possession with intent to distribute marijuana (CDS I), possession of MDMA (CDS I), possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine (CDS II), possession of Xanax (CDS IV), and involvement in drug proceeds transactions, along with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Additionally, Davis is facing two outstanding warrants for the distribution of crack cocaine (CDS II).

The arrests follow a lengthy investigation into drug trafficking and fraudulent activities in the Houma area.
