MIDDLESBORO, Ky. — A routine traffic stop on July 30 led to the arrest of Tommy Ellison after authorities seized a significant amount of suspected methamphetamine and cash.
The stop involved a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. During the search, officers found a backpack containing a quarter pound of suspected methamphetamine.
Along with the drugs, a large sum of U.S. currency and the motorcycle were confiscated.
Ellison was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and multiple traffic-related offenses. He is currently held in custody pending further proceedings.
