
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. — Titus Gaumald Holland, 48, has been charged with murder and other offenses following a deadly drive-by shooting in Palm Springs last week.
The shooting occurred just before 7 a.m. on Friday near the intersection of Avenida Cerca and Corozon Avenue. Police discovered a 64-year-old man inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite officers’ efforts to perform CPR, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.
Holland was arrested in connection with the incident and is scheduled for his initial court appearance this afternoon at the Larson Justice Center in Indio.
According to jail records, Holland is being held on a $5 million bail.
