BATH, N.Y. (WETM) – A 21-year-old man from Tioga, Pennsylvania, was arrested on multiple drug charges following a late-night traffic stop in Bath, New York.
Gage F. Sorge was pulled over around 11:22 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, on West Morris Street for several traffic violations, including speeding and distorted visibility due to damaged glass.
During the stop, officers reportedly observed drug paraphernalia in plain sight inside the vehicle. A further search uncovered additional contraband, including a box containing two digital scales with suspected narcotic residue, a bag of 20mg Adderall pills, and packaging materials commonly used for drug distribution.
Sorge was arrested and charged with:
Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree (Class D felony)
Criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree (Class A misdemeanor)
Speeding in a zone and visibility/glass distortion (traffic violations)
He was processed and taken to the Steuben County Jail for further legal proceedings.
