BIBB COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — A fourth person has been arrested in connection with a disturbing child abuse case involving an underground bunker in Bibb County.
The Bibb County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that Timothy St. John was taken into custody Tuesday and faces multiple serious charges, including two counts of first-degree rape, four counts of sodomy, four counts of human trafficking, three counts of kidnapping, one count of bestiality, and one count of cruelty to animals.
The investigation, led by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, began on February 4 following reports of potential child abuse. The alleged abuse reportedly occurred between January 2024 and early 2025 and involved at least five children under the age of 12.
Central to the case is an underground bunker located on Aaron Drive near Brent, Alabama, where much of the alleged abuse took place.
Three other suspects have already been arrested:
William McElroy, accused of acknowledging inappropriate conduct with a child.
Dalton Terrell, who reportedly admitted to unlawful sexual activity during an investigation interview.
Andres Velazquez-Trejo, accused of distributing explicit images and facilitating contact between victims and others.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the case.
