LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) – A 72-year-old Portage man, Timothy Pochron, has been arrested and charged following a violent shooting earlier this week in LaPorte County.
Authorities say Pochron is facing attempted murder and aggravated battery charges after he allegedly shot a 63-year-old man multiple times on Tuesday night at a residence in the 10600 block of County Road 1150 West.
The victim was initially taken to a local hospital but had to be airlifted to a trauma center due to the seriousness of his injuries.
According to court records, Pochron is scheduled for his initial hearing on Friday morning.
