Timothy L. Heady Arrested in Smyrna Meth Case

One pound of meth found packaged for distribution

SMYRNA, N.Y. — A Smyrna man, Timothy L. Heady, 45, was arrested Jan. 20 following a two-month investigation into drug sales and distribution by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers executed a search warrant in the Town of Smyrna, where they found a quantity of cash and one pound of methamphetamine packaged for distribution.

Heady was charged with:

Four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree (Class A Felony)

Four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree (Class B Felony)

Tampering with physical evidence (Class E Felony)

Heady was arraigned and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility, where he remains in custody.
