Tiffany Soucy Arrested for Burglary in Caribou After Footprints Lead to Residence

Soucy Faces Multiple Charges After Burglary Investigation in Caribou

CARIBOU, Maine (WAGM) — On January 24th, around 10 AM, the Caribou Police Department responded to a call about suspicious footprints found at a residence on McKinley Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a burglary had occurred inside the garage.

Tracking the footprints from McKinley Street, law enforcement followed them to the front door of a residence on Sweden Street. After confirming with the homeowner that items were missing from the McKinley Street garage, officials obtained a search warrant for the Sweden Street residence. When no one answered the door, officers made a forced entry.

31-year-old Tiffany Soucy of Caribou was arrested and charged with Burglary (Class C), Theft with Prior Convictions (Class D), and Criminal Mischief (Class D). She is currently being held pending a court date on March 6th. Additionally, 40-year-old Justin Murphy, also of Caribou, was arrested on unrelated charges.
