Three Nepalese Nationals Arrested in Chikkamagaluru Theft Case

Valuables Worth Rs1.75 Crore Recovered by Police

The Chikkamagaluru Police on Friday arrested three Nepalese nationals in connection with multiple theft cases, recovering valuables estimated at over Rs1.75 crore.

The accused have been identified as Rajendra Sher (30), Ekendra Kutal Badwal (31), and Karam Singh Bahaddur Damari. Authorities recovered 1.8 kg of gold jewellery, 1.2 kg of silver items, and two cars from the accused, all linked to reported thefts.

Police officials confirmed that the arrests followed intelligence-led operations and raids. Investigations are ongoing to trace any additional stolen property and determine if the accused are connected to further criminal activities in the region.
