BATON ROUGE — A multi-agency investigation led to the arrest of three alleged members of “The Motion Boyz” gang for drug trafficking, with authorities seizing drugs, firearms, and other contraband from multiple locations.

Between January and March 2025, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO), along with other law enforcement agencies, conducted an intensive investigation into the group’s activities. The Gang Intelligence and Enforcement Unit focused on Stanley Wilson (23), Shedrick Smith (25), and Rekayla Taylor (30), all of whom now face multiple charges.

Surveillance and searches at five locations across Baton Rouge uncovered significant evidence of a drug operation. Authorities seized:

2.25 pounds of marijuana
11 Oxycodone pills
Two Trapendatol pills
Three Hydrocodone pills
Six digital scales with cocaine residue
Plastic and vacuum-sealed bags
A ballistic bulletproof vest
Four firearms, including a stolen Glock 27 from Ascension Parish
The firearms included:

Glock 27 semi-automatic handgun (stolen)
Glock 29 10mm semi-automatic handgun
Palmetto State Armory PA-15 semi-automatic rifle (.223 caliber)
Tristar 12-gauge shotgun
Authorities say the arrests mark a significant step in dismantling organized drug trafficking operations in Baton Rouge. The investigation remains ongoing, and officials encourage the public to report any further suspicious activity.
