Three Men from Crewe Charged After Burglary at Disused Business in Alsager

Trio caught at the scene by Cheshire Police with help from Police Dog Vandal

ALSAGER, Cheshire – Three men from Crewe have been remanded in custody and are set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, 10th September, following a burglary at a disused business premises on Crewe Road, Alsager.

The suspects — Bartlomiej Albinowski (30), Kamil Szultka (35), and Sebastian Wasag (27) — were arrested after police received a report at 8:01 p.m. on Monday, 8th September that the men had broken into the building.

Charges:

Bartlomiej Albinowski, of Dewes Street, Crewe – charged with going equipped for burglary and handling stolen goods

Kamil Szultka, of Edleston Road, Crewe – charged with burglary and obstructing a constable

Sebastian Wasag, of Hughes Drive, Crewe – charged with burglary

Police Response:

Responding officers quickly arrived at the scene and secured the perimeter while waiting for a dog unit. One suspect exited the premises and was immediately detained.

The other two suspects were found with the help of Police Dog (PD) Vandal, who located one hiding under fibreglass in a concealed cupboard area. PD Vandal also identified two rucksacks containing copper piping and tools believed to be used in the burglary.

A third man was arrested after arriving at the scene in a vehicle, where officers found additional tools and copper piping.

Current Status:

All three suspects remain in custody. The investigation continues as they appear before the magistrates today.

Cheshire Police praised PD Vandal and the officers involved for their swift and effective response in apprehending the suspects and securing key evidence.
