Three men have been charged in separate federal complaints for allegedly distributing narcotics at two nightclubs in Antioch, Tennessee, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee announced on Monday.
Rimon Salim, 37, a naturalized U.S. citizen; Antuan Rhodes, 44, of Nashville; and Jorge Luis, 35, a Mexican national without legal status in the U.S., were each charged following a lengthy narcotics investigation involving two clubs—Miami Club and Paisanos.
Salim, the owner of both nightclubs, operates Paisanos from 6 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., and Miami Club, located next door, opens from 2:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. Between 2020 and 2024, law enforcement responded to over 400 calls for service related to incidents such as fights, gunfire, injuries, and thefts at or near these locations.
The investigation, which began approximately 18 months ago, involved undercover agents and confidential informants who made multiple narcotics purchases inside the clubs. Among the transactions, Luis was reportedly involved in several cocaine deals inside Paisanos’ bathroom between February 2024 and March 2025. Meanwhile, Salim, Rhodes, and others were found selling methamphetamine and cocaine to informants at Miami Club between August 2024 and March 2025.
Salim faces charges for maintaining a drug-involved premises and distributing controlled substances, with a potential sentence of life in federal prison and up to $10 million in fines. Luis and Rhodes each face up to 20 years in prison and $1 million in fines per count.
The investigation highlights the growing issue of drug trafficking at nightlife establishments and law enforcement’s continued efforts to address such criminal activities.
