TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Three men were arrested on Friday, facing drug and gun charges, the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) announced on Sunday.
Detectives had been investigating two convicted felons, 26-year-old Lawrence Andrews and 27-year-old Emmanuel Smith, who were repeatedly seen in possession of firearms in the Tallahassee area. Both men were arrested and charged with possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
A third individual, Jeremiah Gilley, Jr., was arrested on unrelated warrants for bank fraud and grand theft.
TPD’s investigation spanned several months before detectives obtained a search warrant for a home on Great Lakes St. The Tactical Apprehension and Control (TAC) Team was involved in executing the warrant. During the search, law enforcement found:
Two guns
Cocaine
Cannabis
Oxycodone pills
Synthetic cathinone
All three men were booked at the Leon County Detention Facility. The arrests are part of ongoing efforts to combat drug and firearm offenses in the area.
