Three men from Houston were arrested following an aggravated robbery early Wednesday morning at a Beaumont Walmart.

According to police, officers responded to a call at the Walmart on 4145 Dowlen Rd. around 2:15 a.m. Two men entered the store, broke into a secured drawer, and took a large sum of money. During the robbery, they threatened an employee. Afterward, they fled the scene and ran toward a black Chevrolet Impala, where a third suspect was waiting as the getaway driver.

Beaumont officers quickly spotted the Impala heading south on Dowlen Rd. and stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Gladys and Dowlen Rd. The suspects were identified as Jariot Culbert, 29, Demetrius Proctor, 23, and Nathan Rachal, 22, all from Houston.

Police recovered the stolen money and additional evidence linking the suspects to the crime. The three men were arrested and taken to the Jefferson County jail, facing charges related to the robbery.
