Delhi Police’s Crime Branch has arrested three men for operating an illegal IPL betting racket from a rented flat in Dwarka Sector-11. The raid was carried out during a live IPL 2025 match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), leading to the seizure of electronic gadgets and betting records.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Harsh Indora confirmed the arrests, stating, “The police team raided the premises during the match and recovered laptops, mobile phones, notebooks, and other tools used for real-time betting operations.”

The arrested individuals have been identified as:

Himanshu Gulati (49)

Amit Kumar (32)

Amit Makol (43)

All three are residents of Delhi and have been booked under relevant sections of the Delhi Public Gambling Act.

Police believe the trio was running a well-organized racket with real-time data feeds and high-stakes betting during the ongoing IPL matches. Further investigation is underway to identify other associates and financial links in the operation.
