Police arrested three drug peddlers across Kupwara, Sopore, and Kulgam, recovering contraband substances from their possession during separate raids.
Shahrukh Shafi Mir, son of Mohammad Shafi Mir from Kupwara, was apprehended at Drugmulla Market after police seized a substantial quantity of a cannabis-like substance.
In Sopore, Ghulam Hassan Dar, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar from Mohalla Teliyan Arampora, was arrested at Chinar Crossing, Warpora, with cannabis-like drugs in his possession.
Meanwhile, in Kulgam, Farooq Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Ahmad Mir from Zadoora, was caught near the railway track at Furrah with 1.19 kg of poppy straw-like substance.
Relevant cases have been registered at the respective police stations, and investigations are ongoing.
