Three individuals were arrested in Manipur’s Thoubal district on Friday after police seized over 100 kg of WY tablets. The joint operation was carried out by the Manipur police and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) near the Lilong police station.

The arrested individuals were identified as Amaldas Xalxo from Golaghat, Assam, Mahedi Alom from Morigaon, Assam, and Mohammad Khurshid from Lilong Hangamthabi, Thoubal. Along with the narcotics, authorities also seized a truck and a four-wheeler during the operation.

This significant drug bust highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to tackle drug trafficking in the region. The investigation is still ongoing as authorities work to trace the origins of the drugs and the individuals involved in the smuggling network.
