In a major drug bust in Hyderabad, the Special Crime Team of CCS Hyderabad along with Abids Police arrested three persons and seized 72 grams of MDMA (methamphetamine) near Basheerbagh.
Police said the accused were allegedly attempting to sell the banned narcotic substance to customers in the city.
Accused Identified
The arrested individuals were identified as:
Jog Singh (25), a businessman and resident of Vinayak Nagar, Jeedimetla, Hyderabad
Chunaram Chaudary (27), a footwear shop owner at Chattabazar, residing in Ashok Bazar, Afzalgunj
Amrith Purohit (32), an optical supply worker living in Kukatpally
Police said all three accused originally belong to Rajasthan.
Seized Items
During the operation, officers recovered the following items:
72 grams of MDMA (methamphetamine) packets
Four mobile phones
Investigators said the accused had gathered information about potential buyers and locations where they could sell the drugs in the city for high profits.
