Three Arrested in Taylorville Meth Trafficking Bust

TAYLORVILLE, Ill. (WICS) — In a significant breakthrough in a narcotics investigation, the Taylorville Police Department’s Community Action Team arrested three individuals linked to the trafficking of methamphetamine from Decatur to Taylorville.

The arrests were made early Tuesday morning when officers apprehended Tiffany Coverstone, 50, Mason Benjamin, 44, and Allison Miller, 38, all of Decatur. The trio faces multiple methamphetamine-related charges, including possession with intent to deliver and the delivery of methamphetamine, with the quantities involved ranging between 15 and 100 grams.

Authorities continue to investigate the case, and further details about the operation are expected to be released.
