The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) apprehended three suspects and recovered 10.5 grams of suspected heroin from their possession in Shillong, officials said.
The accused have been identified as:
Kalsang Momoha
Jerry Syiem
Ricky Kharsyntiew
All three individuals are residents of Lamavilla Block-4. They were arrested and handed over to Lumdiengri Police Station, where a case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Authorities stated that the arrests are part of ongoing efforts by ANTF to curb drug trafficking in Meghalaya.
